A decision by the team
When a true cause becomes a controversy, we prefer to go back to where it began.
Over the last few days, Brasil 22 Token started receiving attention that nobody imagined, at the speed at which it happened.
Stories published by major Brazilian news outlets associated the project with possible electoral irregularities and presented interpretations of its structure, its airdrop and its former political communication that the B22 team disputes.
We received this situation with great sadness.
The project was born independently and, according to its creators, in good faith, with no request, coordination, funding or participation from any candidate, party or electoral campaign.
It was never our intention to break any law.
But we also understand that when a communication leads to interpretations so different from the intention of those who created it, insisting on it stops making sense.
So we made a simple decision.
We have removed from the project, in full, all communication related to political awareness.
We do not want to feed a dispute.
We do not want to turn a social cause into a political battle.
We simply want to go back to what we know how to do and have already produced in the real world: using the strength of a Web3 community to help a real social cause.
Until October 25, 2026, this site will have a single focus: the completion of the HypersKids house in Kampala, Uganda.
Nothing beyond that.

A dance and acrobatics group made up of children from Kampala, the capital of Uganda. A July 2024 article describes the group as a home that provides 45 children with shelter, food, clothing, education and medical care. That year, at an America’s Got Talent audition, one of the dancers said the group hoped to win in order to buy land and build a house and a school.
